Glendronach Traditionally Peated is a unique whisky that combines the robust and smooth characteristics of the Highlands with the traditional peat smoke flavor. This rare clay whisky is aged in premium Pedro Ximenez Sherry casks, Oloroso Sherry casks, and Porter casks, resulting in a rich and indulgent taste. It offers enticing aromas of highland toffee, molasses, and smoked raspberry, accompanied by distinct earthy notes and a lingering finish. Like all Glendronach whiskies, the natural color of this expression is derived from the slow aging process in Spanish oak barrels.

In homage to Glendronach's early whisky-making heritage, lead mixologist Dr. Rachel Barrie follows the principles established by founder James Allardice nearly two centuries ago. During that time, it was customary in the Scottish Highlands to burn clay in kilns at the end of germination, which imparted a warm, rich, and earthy smokiness to the whisky. Dr. Barrie's dedication to these traditions ensures that Glendronach continues to produce whiskies of exceptional quality and character.
